Why it Matters:

It is estimated that 15-20% of the UK population are neurodivergent. The true figure is likely higher, as only medically diagnosed individuals will be included in the stated percentage. There is a high probability that neurodivergent colleagues are employed, or will at some point be employed, within your organisation

Neurodiversity takes many forms, and no two neurodivergent people are the same. However, there are some generally accepted strengths and challenges that tend to be associated with neurodiversity

Neurodivergent employees have the potential to be your organisation’s highest achievers/biggest assets, if they can be supported in the right way. In order to attract and retain this talent, your organisation will need inclusive policies, processes and, most importantly, culture
